Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: April 8, 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to paid plan purchases made through Datafin checkout flows. Purchase status and billing references are verified against payment provider records.
Free plans do not involve charges and therefore are not subject to refunds. Paid-plan refunds are handled under this policy and mandatory consumer law.
2. Refund eligibility
If you cancel your subscription within 3 days from the original payment date, a refund is applied unconditionally.
No manual support request is required for this flow. Cancellation can be completed with one click from your profile subscription page.
3. Non-refundable or restricted scenarios
Cancellations made after day 3 do not qualify for a refund. However, access remains active until the end of the already-paid billing period.
Promotional, enterprise or contract-based purchases may follow separate terms explicitly disclosed at checkout or in contract documents. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
4. Cancellation and renewal handling
Paid plans renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date. Canceling stops future charges while preserving access until current period end.
After day 3, cancellation only prevents the next renewal charge and does not reverse the current cycle payment.
5. One-click cancellation flow
Use the cancel action on your Profile > Subscription page. The cancellation flow is self-service and does not require form submission.
Cancellation time is evaluated against the original payment date to apply the relevant refund or period-end rule.
6. Refund payout timeline
For cancellations within the first 3 days, refund execution is initiated. Posting time depends on the payment network/bank and usually takes about 3-10 business days.
Technical errors, duplicate charges or unauthorized transactions can still be escalated to support for priority review.
7. Disputes and mandatory legal rights
If you disagree with a decision, your case can be re-evaluated with additional evidence where available.
This policy does not waive or limit non-excludable rights under mandatory consumer protection laws.
8. Policy updates
This policy may be updated due to legal changes, payment-provider requirements or product structure updates. The latest version is published on this page.
For material updates, we may provide additional notice through in-product messages or email.
